A New Adventure!

On and off for quite a few months, maybe even a year, now I have been thinking about starting up my own Etsy shop.  I just wasn't sure I would be able to keep enough items in stock to be able to justify having my own shop.  I was talking to my cousin the other day and she said, well just start making stuff and when you get a stock pile then think about it again.  Minutes after that conversation took place I logged onto my facebook and was delighted to see I had a message from a friend of mine.  She was asking if I had ever thought about starting my own Esty shop.  Whoaaaaa!

I responded and told her I had but was worried about keeping the shelves stocked and then I, somewhat jokingly, said maybe we could open one together??  She came back with, well that's kind of where I was going with that question....

Here we are a few weeks later and we're creating goodies for our grand opening, which at this point is set for the first of 2013!  We've decided on a name, which will be disclosed at a later date, so make sure to stay tuned!


I spent a good portion of today sewing.  It was wonderful!  I haven't been able to do that for a really long time.  The best thing about sewing today was that I got many items completed!  Ahhh what a good feeling.
